I am attending Acadia University; completing my 2nd year of my Bachelor of Science with a Major in Psychology with a Minor in Business. My current GPA is 3.57/4.00. I will add that due to a vision disability I am limited to walking and/or public transit as my means of transportation. For this reason I would prefer to meet in Wolfville for tutoring sessions.
Experience
It is hard to narrow down why I want to be a tutor. Since I returned to university as a mature student I have began to love learning. I think that passion about a topic is important if you want to teach it to someone. I love what I have learned since I went back to school. I have mastered a lot of studying techniques. I have also learned what makes a great paper. I want to share with other students all that I have learned to help them on their way. I seem to be able to communicate concepts to students in a way they can understand. As far as being qualified, I am a listed tutor with Acadia University. I found that for the courses I have taken there has been little requests, so I thought I would expand my horizons to find more students who may benefit from my services. All of the courses listed above are classes that I have taken and received 80% or higher as a final grade.

Hobbies
I enjoy music a lot. Back when I lived in Calgary Alberta I attended a lot of live shows. I even got to know a band or two. I really enjoy art, though I find I have much to little time to enjoy it as much as I should. Painting is my art form of choice. I also find myself really enjoying the nature in Nova Scotia. This is a beautiful place to go for a walk.
